Living in and traveling to six different continents during her childhood, Meagan Simonaire had the opportunity to observe a diversity of beauty habits practiced by many different cultures. From intricate Middle Eastern henna designs and colorful Indian saris to unique European styles and the silky hair and ageless complexion of the Filipino culture, these experiences made a lasting impression on Meagan in her formative years and inspired her lifelong interest in all things beautiful. She grew up practicing the latest beauty and style trends on herself and her four sisters. To this day, she continues to cultivate her passion in the beauty realm and lives for helping and empowering women.
In high school, Meagan used beauty services to raise money and awareness for women enslaved in human trafficking. After earning her cosmetology degree, she began her professional career at Aveda Day Spa in historic Annapolis as well as the prestigious Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland and Medspa. Without losing sight of her passion to help women in need, she offered her services through Aveda to give beauty treatments to homeless women and victims of domestic abuse. She also volunteered with local safe houses to help human trafficking survivors.
Meagan's passion to help women and others in need led her to get involved in passing a state law to make it more affordable for former enslaved woman to receive a college education, as well as a law that helps homeless teenagers to attain their GED by removing the cost barrier and making 100% free for them.
Meagan fell in love with permanent makeup and microblading when she discovered she could give women the gift of permanent confidence! She finally felt that she found a beauty treatment that allowed her creativity to flow unhindered. She earned her certificate in cosmetic tattoo from The Beau Institute of Permanent and Corrective Cosmetics and trained directly under Lizzeth and Emily at DOLLISTIC to master brow artistry and microblading.
Meagan is thrilled to work among the other talented artists at DOLLISTIC and is confident that she has found a home where she can continue to grow in her career while exploring new opportunities to reach out to women in need.
